TBG11 Social Security, Employment and Education
This specification provides the definition of the Social administration message (SOCADE) to be used in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) between trading partners involved in administration, commerce and transport.
1.1 Functional definition
A message is sent by an employer to an organisation to report information regarding to person(s) who get wages or advantages, as goods granted by an employee, from an employer. It may relate about an event concerning one or more employee(s) or report on staff activities during a specific period of employment.
1.2 Field of application
The Social administration message may be used for both national and international applications. It is based on universal practice related to administration, commerce and transport, and is not dependent on the type of business or industry.
This message may be used to transmit information:
- regarding individuals who receive wages or advantages from an employer during a given period and who are entitled to a working contract.
- regarding the status of one or more person(s) who receive wages or advantages from an employer.
- regarding a particular event concerning one or more employee(s).
The employer, responsible for declaration may request a third party to declare for its own.
