SUMMARY:How to apply code lists in order to improve my EDI specification with GEFEG.FX software - Free webinar
DESCRIPTION:Using code lists in EDI specifications ensures that unique field values are used in the related EDI messages. A code list thus provides an excellent means of specifying values precisely and supporting both the EDI data architect and the implementer with the same vocabulary. \nCode lists serve as value inventories from which codes are selected and transmitted in an electronic document. Since code lists are very comprehensive and contain all code values possible in a given context\, they improve uniqueness by restricting codes in the GEFEG.FX Guide where possible. For example\, the country code in the address field could be limited to “DE” if you operate exclusively within Germany. \nOur recommendation: Link your guides in GEFEG.FX to code lists and use a simple selection to determine which codes are eligible for selected fields. \nIf you ask yourself any of the following questions … \n\nHow do I update an existing code list in GEFEG.FX?\nFor which industry or company-specific codes do I create my own code list?\nWhat do I have to do to make a code list multilingual?\nHow do I output a code selection in the documentation of my EDI specification?\n\n… please join our webinar: we will provide you with the answers. And you will learn how to use code lists in XML Schema and EDI guides. \nWebinar topics of “How to apply code lists in order to improve my EDI specification with GEFEG.FX software”\n\nUsing and updating code lists in EDI specifications\nCreating your own code lists in GEFEG.FX\nOutput of code lists in documentation\nMaintaining code lists\n\n  \nAny questions about the webinar and/or input on other webinar topics? \nWho should attend?\nGEFEG.FX users\, and everyone interested in improving their EDI implementation \nWhich knowledge should you already have?\nPractical experience of the GEFEG.FX software is helpful \nHow much time will the webinar take?\nAbout 60 minutes \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n \n \n	\n \n REGISTER NOW\n \n	\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n When you click on the registration button\, you will be redirected to the LogMeIn\, Inc. SUMMARY:WebAPIs with OpenAPI 3 - 22nd Training
DESCRIPTION:Web APIs with OpenAPI 3.x\n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n Next generation data exchange\, not just for EDI-experts\nWebAPIs with OpenAPI 3 are now the talk of the town. Whether in the automotive industry\, trade\, customs\, FinTecs or insurance. Companies everywhere are increasingly relying on APIs. International standardisation organisations such as UN/CEFACT are also addressing this topic. \nThe OpenAPI 3.x specification standard seems to be gaining acceptance here. It combines the claim to make an API readable both for a computer and for the web developer\, who then has to implement it. \nSo is this the next generation of data exchange? Will it be able to solve all syntax problems and will it completely replace the classic EDI? \nThe online training introduces the topic of APIs and their benefits in the B2B and B2G environment. It also highlights the differences between web services and WebAPIs. Different approaches to message and resource-based data exchange make it possible\, with appropriate design\, to cover future use cases that were not even known when the API was created. \nKey topics from the training\n\nAPI – Terms and Basics\nAPI – Classification and Distinction from Classic EDI (Web Services\, SOA\, REST\, Open API versus Public API)\nREST Service Contracts and Design Principles\nEvent-driven data exchange\nThe Open API 3.x specification standard\nAPI Management and Governance\nAPI development tips\n\n  \nAny questions about the web training and/or input on webinar topics? \nTarget audiences\nThe training is aimed at all those who want to get to know the concept of WebAPIs with OpenAPI 3 and their applicability for B2B and B2G data exchange. This includes both beginners to the topic as well as EDI experts who are dealing with WebAPIs for the first time. \nPrerequisites\nThe training does not require any programming knowledge. However\, a basic understanding of data exchange between applications\, for example based on EDIFACT\, XML or similar formats\, is helpful. \nDuration\n2x 3 hours \nDates\n2024-06-25\, 2 to 5 pm CET (1st part)\n2024-06-27\, 2 to 5 pm CET (2nd part) \nThis training is available in German language as well. \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n	\n \n REGISTER NOW\n \n	\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n When you click on the registration button\, you will be redirected to the LogMeIn\, Inc. SUMMARY:Latest ISO 20022 Specification\, Migration and Updates - Is Your Implementation Already Sustainably Documented? - Free webinar
DESCRIPTION:ISO 20022 to become mandatory for financial transaction data\nBy the end of 2025\, it will be more or less mandatory for all participants to use the ISO 20022 standard for the exchange of financial transaction data. All those who have not yet migrated their payment data will have to become active by then if their payment information is to continue to be transmitted via the SWIFT network. By then\, and thus in the following four years\, there will be further key dates\, such as last November\, when it was due that the pan-European payment systems TARGET2\, EURO1 and STEP1 migrated to ISO 20022. \nAre you well prepared?  And if so\, is your ISO 20022 implementation documented sustainably enough to be easily updated during version upgrades? Or are you planning to document exceptions and extensions to ISO 20022 in a customized specification as part of the migration? \nGiving priority to ISO 20022 content documentation\nThe distribution of the ISO 20022 standard in the GEFEG.FX software provides the basis for projects in the financial sector to customize\, document\, publish\, implement and validate financial messages. In GEFEG.FX\, you have access to earlier versions of ISO 20022 UML models in addition to the current ISO 20022 UML models. Furthermore\, enriched XML schemas and external codes to the elements facilitate the understanding and planning of your implementation. Of course\, an ISO 20022 data update service is also included. \nTopics of the free webinar on “Current ISO 20022 Specification\, Migration and Updates – Is Your Implementation Already Sustainably Documented?”\nLearn how to … \n\nEfficiently develop your specifications\, guidelines and publications based on ISO 20022 with GEFEG.FX and thanks to our efficient update routine save time and effort on future versions\nHarmonise your financial data with GEFEG.FX\nValidate data in a GEFEG.Portal first for QA and use it free of errors in your production environment\nCreate and document API specifications based on ISO 20022 and other standards with GEFEG.FX\n\n  \nAny questions about the webinar and/or input on other webinar topics? \nWho should attend?\nTechnical and business-oriented staff of companies organizing or implementing ISO 20022 migration projects \nWhich knowledge should you already have?\nInterest in ISO 20022 and financial processes \nHow much time will the webinar take?\nAbout 50 to 60 minutes \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n \n \n	\n \n REGISTER NOW\n \n	\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n When you click on the registration button\, you will be redirected to the LogMeIn\, Inc.
