SUMMARY:UN/CEFACT Multimodal Transport Reference Data Model - Reuse and specify ready-to-use building blocks for your data model - Free webinar
DESCRIPTION:The UN/CEFACT Reference Data Models bridge two domains within the International Supply Chain\, namely the Transport and Logistics domain and the Supply Chain and Procurement domain. In terms of content\, they provide a unifying framework for consolidating the constituent data models of these two domains. Importantly for users\, the unified framework addresses any overlap between the concepts used in their different contexts. From a technical perspective\, the Reference Data Models provide a unique semantic electronic tool. Ready-made building blocks are provided that can be reused and further specified. \nDigital documents have long been present in the global exchange of goods\, accompanying every delivery and becoming increasingly important. The transport industry must therefore prepare itself for the fact that data as a digital companion and the associated data exchange will continue to increase in the coming years. The public sector is also planning to move from paper to electronic data in the future\, supplementing the usual paper-based data exchange between the players in the logistics industry. Not only is the volume of data transfer increasing\, but also the requirement to be able to process a large number of digital standards. It is well known that digital communication in the transport and logistics industry is not limited to a few B2B/B2G standards\, as is the case in the automotive or consumer goods industry\, for example. \nHands on customisation and reuse of UN/CEFACT Reference Data Models (RDMs)\nThe Reference Data Models share the same base of components from the UN Core Component Library (UN CCL). These components are interlinked\, but applied differently due to varying context and semantics between international sales and transport contracts\, information exchanges and business practices. \nThe UN/CEFACT Multimodal Transport Reference Data Model (MMT RDM) provides an important basis for supporting data harmonisation for all transport-related documents and also supports your implementations in the next step. The multimodal transport model comprises harmonised\, semantic structures that cover all data used in the transport and logistics sector for electronic data exchange. \nIn our webinar\, you will learn more about the various components of this model as well as the concept\, methodology and data harmonisation benefits of using it. Not least due to the increasing number of eBusiness standards\, EDI managers are increasingly opting to use a model-based approach. This means that you first represent the data of a business document in an abstract\, syntax-neutral model. You then plan the specific data exchange formats on the basis of this model. \nTopics of our webinar\nIn this webinar you will find out how to … \n\nReuse the GEFEG.FX UN/CEFACT global reference data models distribution for data harmonisation and to design customised but interoperable data exchanges with cross-border supply chain business partners in GEFEG.FX\nContextualize\, restrict and enrich your usages of the reference data models\nIncorporate customer/user specific data requirements and business context\nUse it for implementation by quickly and easily generating documentation from your data\, including XSD exports\, and deploying it into your implementation environment\nGenerate XML schemas for data exchange implementation following the UNCEFACT Core Component Technical Specifications (CCTS) Naming and Design Rules\nCreate and generate human-readable documentation with templates\n\n  \nAny questions about the webinar and/or input on other webinar topics? \nWho should participate?\nInternational Supply Chain actors who need to plan and implement data exchanges with commercial partners\, transport and logistics professionals\, and cross-border authorities based on UNCEFACT Reference Data Models benefitting from the unique customisation functionalities provided by the GEFEG.FX tooling. \nHow much time will the webinar take?\nApprox. 50 to 60 minutes \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n	\n \n REGISTER NOW\n \n	\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n When you click on the registration button\, you will be redirected to the LogMeIn\, Inc. SUMMARY:Introduction to the EDI standard UN/EDIFACT - Training
DESCRIPTION:Basics of EDIFACT\nIn this course you will learn about the principles and structure of EDI standards in one day using the example of UN/EDIFACT (United Nations Electronic Data Interchange for Administration\, Commerce and Transport). \nUN/EDIFACT is an EDI standard that describes business documents in a standardized format and thus defines uniform formats. These formats enable the automated exchange of orders\, invoices or delivery bills between the computer systems of companies and\, increasingly\, public authorities. UN/EDIFACT is developed and maintained by international experts\, is industry-independent and is widely used. There are also other EDI standards that are based on UN/EDIFACT and are commonly used in certain industries\, such as GS1 EANCOM® as the standard for the consumer goods industry. \nThis course will give you an overview of the importance\, application\, advantages and disadvantages of EDI standards. Practical exercises will help you to better understand the structure of the standard. \nTraining topics of “Introduction to the EDI standard UN/EDIFACT”\n\nWhy UN/EDIFACT?\nIntroduction to the EDIFACT syntax\nThe hierarchical levels of the standard\nStructure and attributes of the standard\nConversion of an order into an EDIFACT-ORDERS\nExercises\n\n  \nAny questions about the training course and/or input on other training topics? \nWhat will you learn in the course?\nYou will have learned about the structure of an EDIFACT message through a practical exercise\, making it easier for you to understand other EDI messages. You will also have learned about the advantages and disadvantages of EDI standards and know which other EDI standards are based on EDIFACT. \nWho should attend?\nAttend this course if you are a member of an EDI project group\, an IT or EDI department\, or if you work as an EDI and eBusiness consultant and basic EDIFACT knowledge is an important part of your work. \nWhat should you already know?\nGeneral knowledge of data structures is recommended. \nHow much time will the training take?\nPlease plan a whole day for the training. \nWhen will the training take place?\n14 May 2025\, 9 am to 12 am and 2 pm to 5 pm \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n	\n \n REGISTER NOW\n \n	\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n Durch Klicken auf den Anmeldebutton werden Sie auf die GoToWebinar-Seite von LogMeIn\, Inc. weitergeleitet.

SUMMARY:Now you can plan and create APIs with GEFEG.FX - Free webinar
DESCRIPTION:In this webinar you will learn how to plan and create APIs with GEFEG.FX. In addition\, you will gain an insight into how you can use the new API editor in GEFEG.FX. \nApplication Programming Interfaces\, or APIs for short\, are not only in great demand across industries\, but also across domains. EDI and e-business specialists often discuss what role APIs can play in the exchange of business messages and what advantages the use of APIs brings. In these considerations\, it should be taken into account that data exchange via WebAPIs differs in many respects from classical EDI: The development of APIs focuses on resource-based and service-oriented data exchange. Whereas up to now the digitilisation of paper documents has been the focus of a company’s EDI activities\, the use of API goes far beyond this and opens up new possibilities. \nOpenAPI – A specification standard for APIs\nGEFEG.FX supports the development of WebAPIs with OpenAPI 3. Why OpenAPI 3? The use of standards as a basis for development and planning for data exchange between organisations and companies is an important pillar for GEFEG’s products and services. The use of standards (such as GS1 XML\, ISO20022 XML) results in rationalisation effects and interoperability of applications. Users of international standards benefit from the knowledge and know-how of process and data specialists who have been involved in the development for years. We also rely on standards in the development of APIs: The specification standard OpenAPI is supported by many experts (including Google\, IBM\, SAP\, Microsoft) and focuses on standardising the specification of an API. \nCreate APIs from company-specific GEFEG.FX guides\nCreate an API from scratch or use existing GEFEG.FX schemas and models as the basis for a new API. Learn about the technical steps for transforming a GEFEG.FX schema into an API. With just a few clicks\, you can transform your company-specific schemas and models into APIs – including structures\, codes\, constraints\, definitions and names.  If required\, APIs can output in JSON and YAML format\, among others. \nWe show you how it’s done\, and present practical procedures for creating an API. For example\, we will show why a business message should not be completely transformed into an API. \nTopics of our free webinar “Now you can plan and create APIs with GEFEG.FX”\nRegister for our webinar to … \n\nget a brief introduction to the topic of APIs\nget to know important functions of the GEFEG.FX API Editor\nlearn more about the practical procedure for creating an API and follow the live creation of an API from a GEFEG.FX schema.\n\n  \nAny questions about the webinar and/or input on other webinar topics? \nWho should participate?\nAre you an IT and EDI specialist new to the topic of APIs and want to expand your ‘classic’ EDI activities with APIs? Do you want to reuse existing guidelines and convert them into APIs? Then our webinar is the right place for you. \nWhat should you already know?\nGeneral knowledge of GEFEG.FX schemas and data models is recommended. Prior knowledge of the API area is not a prerequisite. \nHow much time will the webinar take?\nPlan about 50 to 60 minutes for the webinar. \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n	\n \n REGISTER NOW\n \n	\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n When you click on the registration button\, you will be redirected to the LogMeIn\, Inc.
