SUMMARY:UN/CEFACT Multimodal Transport Reference Data Model – Reuse and specification of ready-to-use building blocks for your data model – Free Webinar
DESCRIPTION:The UN/CEFACT reference data models combine two key areas of the international supply chain: transport and logistics\, and supply chain and procurement. These provide a uniform framework that consolidates the data models of these two areas. It is crucial for users that this framework takes into account all overlaps between the concepts used in different contexts. From a technical perspective\, reference data models represent a unique semantic tool for electronic data exchange. The modules are designed to be reusable and can be further specified. \nDigital documents have long been indispensable in global trade\, accompanying every delivery and becoming increasingly important. The transport industry must prepare for data to become increasingly prevalent as digital companions and for the associated exchange of data to continue to grow in the coming years. Even the public sector is planning to supplement the current paper-based data exchange between players in the logistics industry with electronic data. This increases not only the volume of data transfer\, but also the requirements for processing a multitude of digital standards. It is well-known that digital communication in the transport and logistics industry is not limited to a few B2B or B2G standards\, as is the case in the automotive or consumer goods industries\, for example. \nPractical adaptation and reuse of UN/CEFACT reference data models (RDMs)\nThe reference data models are based on the same components from the UN Core Component Library (UN CCL). These components are interlinked\, but are applied differently due to the varying context and semantics of international sales and transport contracts\, information exchange and business practices. \nThe UN/CEFACT Multimodal Transport Reference Data Model (MMT RDM) provides an important basis for supporting data harmonisation for all transport-related documents and\, in the next step\, also supports your implementations. The multimodal transport model comprises harmonised semantic structures covering all data used in the transport and logistics sector for electronic data exchange. \nIn our webinar\, you will learn more about the various components of this model\, as well as the concept\, methodology and benefits of data harmonisation that result from using this model. The increasing number of e-business standards is one of the main reasons why EDI managers are increasingly opting for a model-based approach. In other words\, you first represent the data of a business document in an abstract\, syntax-neutral model. The specific data exchange formats are then planned on the basis of this model. \nTopics covered in our webinar\nIn this webinar\, you will learn how to… \n\nreuse the GEFEG.FX UN/CEFACT reference data models for data harmonisation and develop a customised but interoperable data exchange with business partners in the cross-border supply chain in GEFEG.FX.\nbe able to contextualise\, restrict and expand your use of the reference data models\ninclude customer/user-specific data requirements and business context\nuse it for implementation by quickly and easily generating documentation from your data\, including XSD exports\, and deploying it in your implementation environment\ncreate XML schemas for implementing data exchange in accordance with the UNCEFACT Core Component Technical Specifications (CCTS) Naming and Design Rules.\ncreate and generate human-readable documentation with templates\n\nDo you have any questions about the webinar and/or suggestions for other webinar topics? \nWho should participate?\nIndividuals working in the international supply chain who need to plan and implement data exchange with trading partners\, transport and logistics specialists\, and cross-border authorities based on UNCEFACT reference data models will benefit from the unique customisation features of the GEFEG.FX tool. \nHow long does the webinar last?\nSchedule approximately 50–60 minutes for the webinar. \n \n \n \n\n\n \n \n \n This webinar will be conducted in English. \n \n \n \n\n \n \n	\n \n Too bad. SUMMARY:Using JSON Schema with GEFEG.FX – How does it work? – Webinar - Free webinar
DESCRIPTION:JSON Schema in digital data exchange – What data integration experts should know\nJoin our free webinar to learn more about developing JSON schemas with GEFEG.FX. Furthermore\, gain valuable insights into which features simplify the development\, maintenance\, and implementation of JSON schemas in your own IT system. \nBut what exactly is JSON Schema and how can it simplify data exchange between business partners? JSON Schema is a powerful tool used to validate JSON files. It ensures that all incoming and outgoing JSON files meet technical and process-related requirements. These advantages enable JSON Schema to serve as a central validation function for every data interface\, ensuring high data quality when exchanging data with external partners. \nWith our JSON schema editor\, you can create such schemas. The editor provides a user-friendly development and testing environment. Moreover\, it is the only solution on the market that combines schema development with international standards. In this way\, the already established data structures for data exchange can be integrated into the JSON schema files and maintained with minimal effort. Thus\, GEFEG.FX combines the best of both worlds – the technical advantages of JSON Schema with the business rules from EDI standards. \nWe will demonstrate how these two worlds can be effectively integrated\, while also presenting the JSON editor from GEFEG.FX. Register today and take part in our free webinar. We look forward to welcoming you and exploring the world of JSON together! \nWhy should you participate in the free webinar ‘Using JSON Schema with GEFEG.FX – How does it work?’\nBy participating\, you will: \n\nUnderstand what JSON Schema is and how it supports seamless data exchange.\nlearn how to create your own JSON schemas in GEFEG.FX from scratch.\nsee how you can reuse existing EDI standards and imported data structures as a basis for your development.\ndiscover how you can integrate JSON schema files directly into your API interfaces.\n\nDo you have any questions about the webinar and/or suggestions for other webinar topics? \n📅 Save the date!\nTuesday\, May 19\, 2026\, 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. CET (UTC+01:00) Amsterdam\, Berlin\, Bern\, Rome\, Stockholm\, Vienna. \nLanguage: English\nWho should participate?\nWhether you work in IT integration\, data exchange or digital transformation\, this session will help you deepen your expertise in JSON and APIs or expand traditional EDI activities with modern technologies. \nWhich know-how should you bring with you?\nNo prior knowledge of JSON or JSON Schema is required. \n \n \n \n\n \n \n	\n \n Too bad.
