SUMMARY:New VDA message 4984 T2 Global DELFOR - Implementing delivery planning data - Training
DESCRIPTION:Are you planning to implement VDA 4984 Global DELFOR for the transmission of scheduling agreement data via EDI in the near future and adapting it to your requirements? \nTo support your implementation tasks and as an introduction to the VDA 4984 Global Delivery Forecast\, GEFEG offers the following 1-day training\, which is aimed at planners and implementers who are getting started with the planning of this message and / or are interested in the differences to previously used messages. \nWhat has changed compared to previous messages? And what should you pay attention to?\nBusiness partners in the automotive industry typically use the VDA recommendation 4984 Global DELFOR for the data exchange of delivery schedules and call-offs\, and in some cases also detailed call-offs. Recently\, the Global DELFOR message was adapted to meet the current requirements of the automotive industry\, so that it replaces and updates the previous messages. This VDA Recommendation defines in detail which data on scheduling agreements and delivery schedules must be admitted and which data may be transmitted. Are you interested in finding out the changes between the “old” and the new VDA messages? Which changes require special attention? \nMany OEMs and suppliers have contributed their know-how of delivery processes and information in order to modernise the VDA DELFOR Recommendation. Furthermore\, the new recommendation has been harmonised with the global EDI messages of the automotive supply chain. As a result\, an EDIFACT-based\, up-to-date recommendation is ready for implementation by the automotive industry and the automotive suppliers. The new Global DELFOR now better accounts for the requirements of the globalized economy and makes processes more transparent and flexible. \nThe new message replaces VDA 4905 & 4915\nThe VDA Recommendation for the data transmission of delivery schedules replaces the VDA Recommendations 4905 and 4915 as well as various variants. In the case of VW this means the replacement of even eight “old” VDA messages\, thus reducing complexity and offering savings potential for all parties involved. The application area of the DELFOR message includes the transmission of scheduling agreements and delivery schedules as well as JIT delivery schedules via EDI with EDIFACT. \nTraining topics of “New VDA message 4984 T2 Global DELFOR – Implementing delivery planning data”\n\nApplication scenarios and supported processes\nKey words of VDA 4984\nDesign and structure of the message\nChanges compared to VDA 4905\nRelationship to VDA 4985 GLOBAL DELJIT (daily call-off)\nRelationship to VDA 4986 GLOBAL DELJIT (JIS delivery schedules)\nMore EDI standards for the automotive industry\n\n  \nAny questions about the webinar and/or input on other webinar topics? \nWho is the training planned for?\nThe training is aimed at automotive suppliers\, automotive manufacturers (OEMs) and all other interested parties who are starting to plan the delivery planning data message (DELFOR) or are interested in the differences to other messages. \nWhat should you already know?\nKnowledge of the relevant delivery processes in the automotive industry would be helpful. \nHow much time will the training take?\nWe recommend you to allow for the full day. \nWhen will the training take place?\n24 November 2025\, 9:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:00 \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n	\n \n Too bad. SUMMARY:Customised guides for your XML schemas - Why\, when and how should you use this technology? - Free webinar
DESCRIPTION:Effective data exchange with XML schemas: Take advantage of user-specific guidelines\nMany companies use XML schemas for the exchange of business data. In order to create these schemas even more effectively and drastically reduce maintenance costs\, GEFEG.FX software offers powerful methods for customising and managing your XML schemas. With user-specific guidelines\, you can quickly and efficiently adapt your schemas based on standards such as CEFACT XML\, GS1 XML\, connectSpec (formerly OAGIS) or UBL\, which are provided in GEFEG.FX. \nThe guide technology of GEFEG.FX for schema guides is deliberately aimed at developing XML schemas in GEFEG.FX and adapting them to company requirements in a time-saving manner. This approach will drastically reduce future maintenance costs. \nWhat is the guide technology in GEFEG.FX?\nIn GEFEG.FX software\, the term ‘guide’ refers to the specification\, e.g. message implementation guidelines\, implementation guidelines or guidelines for the actual implementation of an XML schema\, data model or EDI standard. It can be considered a writable\, transparent layer that is placed over the base—the original XML schema—and allows all original structural components\, attributes\, types\, and comments to shine through. \nWhy and when should you use guidelines for your XML schemas?\n\nCommon modifications: When you need to update the underlying XML schema regularly.\nExternal control: When a standards organisation\, regulatory authority or external system has created the schema and it is not under your direct control.\nMulti-profile: If you need to maintain several profiles for different use cases.\n\n\nReduce maintenance effort and costs with XML Guide technology\nOne of the great advantages of guide technology is that you can change the basic schema without needing a new guide. Remarks and comments on the schema guide\, such as specifications or restrictions\, are simply saved in the guide and have no effect on the database. It is also possible to overlay multiple schema guides as if they were transparent and further restrict them depending on the context. \nWebinar topics ‘User-specific guidelines for your XML schemas – Why\, when and how should you use guidelines?’\nIn this webinar\, you will learn everything you need to know about: \n\nThe basic design principles for schema guides\nHow to edit schema guides in GEFEG.FX\nUsing the XML Schema Guide Editor in GEFEG.FX\nCreation of human-readable documentation for your XML schema guides\nImporting and exporting XML schemas\n\nTake advantage of this opportunity to deepen your knowledge and make your XML schemas more efficient – with the powerful features of GEFEG.FX. \nDo you have any questions about the webinar and/or suggestions for other webinar topics? \nWho is the webinar intended for?\nWe recommend this webinar to all technical and commercial employees who organise or carry out the exchange of XML schema formats in their company. \nWhich know-how should you bring with you?\nIt is It is preferable to have a keen interest in schema development. \nHow much time should you schedule?\nPlease schedule approximately 50 to 60 minutes for this webinar. \n \n \n \n\n\n \n \n \n Please note that the webinar will be held in English. \n \n \n \n\n \n \n	\n \n Too bad. SUMMARY:UN/CEFACT Multimodal Transport Reference Data Model – Reuse and specification of ready-to-use building blocks for your data model – Free Webinar
DESCRIPTION:The UN/CEFACT reference data models combine two key areas of the international supply chain: transport and logistics\, and supply chain and procurement. These provide a uniform framework that consolidates the data models of these two areas. It is crucial for users that this framework takes into account all overlaps between the concepts used in different contexts. From a technical perspective\, reference data models represent a unique semantic tool for electronic data exchange. The modules are designed to be reusable and can be further specified. \nDigital documents have long been indispensable in global trade\, accompanying every delivery and becoming increasingly important. The transport industry must prepare for data to become increasingly prevalent as digital companions and for the associated exchange of data to continue to grow in the coming years. Even the public sector is planning to supplement the current paper-based data exchange between players in the logistics industry with electronic data. This increases not only the volume of data transfer\, but also the requirements for processing a multitude of digital standards. It is well-known that digital communication in the transport and logistics industry is not limited to a few B2B or B2G standards\, as is the case in the automotive or consumer goods industries\, for example. \nPractical adaptation and reuse of UN/CEFACT reference data models (RDMs)\nThe reference data models are based on the same components from the UN Core Component Library (UN CCL). These components are interlinked\, but are applied differently due to the varying context and semantics of international sales and transport contracts\, information exchange and business practices. \nThe UN/CEFACT Multimodal Transport Reference Data Model (MMT RDM) provides an important basis for supporting data harmonisation for all transport-related documents and\, in the next step\, also supports your implementations. The multimodal transport model comprises harmonised semantic structures covering all data used in the transport and logistics sector for electronic data exchange. \nIn our webinar\, you will learn more about the various components of this model\, as well as the concept\, methodology and benefits of data harmonisation that result from using this model. The increasing number of e-business standards is one of the main reasons why EDI managers are increasingly opting for a model-based approach. In other words\, you first represent the data of a business document in an abstract\, syntax-neutral model. The specific data exchange formats are then planned on the basis of this model. \nTopics covered in our webinar\nIn this webinar\, you will learn how to… \n\nreuse the GEFEG.FX UN/CEFACT reference data models for data harmonisation and develop a customised but interoperable data exchange with business partners in the cross-border supply chain in GEFEG.FX.\nbe able to contextualise\, restrict and expand your use of the reference data models\ninclude customer/user-specific data requirements and business context\nuse it for implementation by quickly and easily generating documentation from your data\, including XSD exports\, and deploying it in your implementation environment\ncreate XML schemas for implementing data exchange in accordance with the UNCEFACT Core Component Technical Specifications (CCTS) Naming and Design Rules.\ncreate and generate human-readable documentation with templates\n\nDo you have any questions about the webinar and/or suggestions for other webinar topics? \nWho should participate?\nIndividuals working in the international supply chain who need to plan and implement data exchange with trading partners\, transport and logistics specialists\, and cross-border authorities based on UNCEFACT reference data models will benefit from the unique customisation features of the GEFEG.FX tool. \nHow long does the webinar last?\nSchedule approximately 50–60 minutes for the webinar. \n \n \n \n\n\n \n \n \n This webinar will be conducted in English.
\n \n \n \n\n \n \n	\n \n Too bad. DESCRIPTION:ISO 20022 becomes mandatory for financial transaction data\nBy the end of 2025\, it will be more or less mandatory for all participants to use the ISO 20022 standard for the exchange of financial transaction data. Wer seine Zahlungsdaten noch nicht migriert hat\, muss bis dahin aktiv werden\, damit seine Zahlungsinformationen weiterhin über das SWIFT-Netz übermittelt werden können. Over the following four years\, there will be other important deadlines\, as was the case in recent years when the Europe-wide payment systems TARGET2\, EURO1 and STEP1 had to be converted to ISO 20022. \nFocus on the documentation of ISO 20022 content\nAre you well prepared? And if so\, is your ISO 20022 implementation documented sufficiently to allow for easy updates during version upgrades? Or are you planning to document exceptions and extensions to ISO 20022 in a separate specification as part of the migration? \nThe ISO 20022 Standard Distribution of GEFEG.FX software provides the basis for projects in the financial sector to adapt\, document\, publish\, implement and validate financial messages. In GEFEG.FX\, alongside the current ISO 20022 UML models\, you also have access to earlier versions of the ISO 20022 UML models.
